Hailing from Provence, French soprano Manon Gleizes graduated from the Lyon Conservatoire, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (BA with Hons), Le Pôle Lyrique d'Excellence and the Sibelius Academy (MA in Opera). She was a 2021/2022 Studio Artist at Mascarade Opera Studio.

Known for her versatile energy, Manon made her Wagner debuts in Die Walküre (Helmwige) at the finnish Eurajoki Festival and her house debuts at Teatro La Fenice in Norma and Pagliacci (Nedda) with Maestro J.Santagada for a MOS showcase. She recorded Lidoine in Le Dialogue des Carmélites at the ATM Studio.

As a member of the Sibelius Academy Sonore Ensemble, she performed Suor Angelica, Ariadne auf Naxos (Ariadne), Albert Herring (Lady Billows) and Così fan tutte (Fiordiligi) under the conducting of M.Lehtinen.

On the concert stage, she performs excerpts of Tannhäuser (Elisabeth) for the 40th anniversary Gala of the Wagner Society Lyon. She was a 2020 scholar for the Bayreuth festspiele. She sang and unrehearsed/jumped in Fledermaus (Rosalinde) excerpt for the Stipendium Gala in Bayreuth.

She sang Fidelio (Leonora) and Il viaggio a Reims (Madama Cortese) at the Auditorium de Bordeaux for the 2020 Unisson Gala.
She sang excerpts from Norma in a filmed recording with the Sinfonia Lahti. and scenes from Madama Butterfly at the Palazzo Corsini and Savonlinna festival.

She was awarded the first prize at the Les Clefs d’Or Competition in 2018 and the 3rd prize at the Kathleen Ferrier competition in 2016. In 2022, she is invited for the Veronica Dunne International Competition and is a current Semi-finalist at the Vivionne competition.

She trained with repetiteurs D. Gowland, J. Khan, E.Olivier, J. Lynch, A. Palloc, J.Papp, A. Goloubskaia singers such as R. Willis Sorensen, M. Fabiano, S. D’Oustrac, N. Denize, J. Uusitalo, S. Isokoski, J.Rusanen, T.Cox, C.De Boever and S. Wahlroos-Kaitila and conductors such as A. Cravero, M. Lehtinen, N.Schweckendiek and K. Murphy.

Her eclectic taste in music leads her to tackle some Chamber music repertoire. Member of the Camelia Duo with the harpist Raphaëlle Villa, they specialise in the 20th Century English & American Art Song repertoire.

She works closely with composer Justin Grize with whom she shares some real interest for Avant-Garde and Contemporary music. They created series of miniatures collection together named Rêves.

Manon has been honoured to receive support from various cultural institutions such as; the R. Wagner Lyon Society, the Drake Calleja Trust, the Selmi Eskelinin Foundation, the Sibelius Academy, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Soroptimists National France.
